Monroe, WA: 164th St. SE Girder Setting

Crews set girders for the new westbound SR 522 bridge over 164th Street SE in Monroe on May 29, 2012. The girders are 75 to 116 feet long and weigh 39 to 60 tons each. Crews will set a total of 15 girders for the new bridge. The work is part of the SR 522 Snohomish River to US 2 widening project: www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/SR522/Widen/SnoRiver_US2. – wsdot on YouTube
