Kentucky Transportation Cabinet: Protect the Mussels – Use Less Salt!

Posted by Infra on Thursday, January 14th, 2016

In this edition, we visit the Sinking Creek Watershed in Laurel County. The watershed, which feeds into the Rockcastle River is a ‘Kentucky Outstanding Resource Water,’ because of the animals that inhabit it — including endangered mussels.
