Dump the Pump Video Contest Entries

American Public Transportation Association:

“Each June, APTA sponsors National Dump the Pump Day. The day is designed to encourage people to get out of their cars and ride public transportation to raise awareness of the financial and environmental benefits of public transportation.

Join other public transit agencies from coast to coast as they come together to encourage their communities to Dump the Pump by leaving their cars at home and riding public transportation.”

These are the winners, announced by APTA on 11/18/2009.

First place: Bob Richardson of Portland, OR – winner of a year of free public transportation and an Apple iPod Touch.

Second place: Judith Keenan of Berkeley, CA – winner of six months of free public transportation.

Third place: Miles Clark of Atlanta, GA – winner of three months of free public transportation.
